The history of the Shadow Clan is a vague one. I was taught very little by the original clan leader Shadow Prince. We lived in a place called ShadowKingdom. To my knowledge we were a small clan. Shadow was diseased and very weak somtimes; I was never really sure what was wrong with him. I spent most of my time with werewolves and was, without a doubt, severly punished for it once by Shadow. I know that his mother was a mortal, but I am not sure how far that blood extended to all of us. She must have been a sorceress because of the powers of the members of the clan. Death Jester, the only original member that remains with me, was not a clansmen by blood, but this does not matter; he still has major authority since he is an elder. For some reason our clan just vanished. There must have been a war within it.  Because I am the daughter of Shadow Prince, I was left to rule the clan. Death Jester and I have no idea where we came from or how we came about. It seems we just emerged from the mists of time, perhaps from an ancient clan torn apart. Our history is concealed in the death of our clan.

From the start I admit that I cannot ban anyone from these rooms but I ask you out of respect for yourself and others that you follow a few simple rules.

1. No character can be all powerful, even a clan member. True that the Shadow Clan is a clan of sorcerers and sorcerresses as well as vampires (and some half werewolf). But all clan members' magic is limited to simple spells. Any great feat of magic will drain the being for quite some time (this does not include shape shifting).

2. If one character attacks another and the other refuses to acknowledge the attack it must not continue.

3. No character can be immediately killed. An attacked character must be given the chance to defend his/herself at least three times before being killed (this goes for you too any of you perspective slayers).

4. No one, and i repeat NO ONE, will gain power of the clan unless I appoint them to it. If I go so goes my page.

5. If you are a clan member and you bring another into the clan, you are responsible for that childe. If you see that the childe will be a problem, you will clean up your own mess. I will not do your dirty work for you. If the problem is not corrected, you may be subject to penalties too.

6. If you are given a position of power, respect that position. Do not use it to harrass others.

Any deviation from these rules and a clan member will be banished from the clan. For any characters not of the clan, the clan and other characters reserve the right to ignore you as they see fit. If you see anyone breaking these rules, you are encouraged not to acknowledge their presence for the simple fact of keeping this a place where you and others like you have a good place to relax and have fun.
