PokéMon Stadium 2

Back to Games Lobby

Yes, It's finally coming to our shores! PokéMon Stadium 2 is, of course, the sequel to the original hit title, PokéMon Stadium. The second installment features all the exciting 3-D battles like the first one did, except with the addition of 100 new Pokémon and some more user-friendly things.

There are several areas you can visit in the game, one of which is the Stadium, where most of the action takes place. There's even a new cup, the Little Cup, that has been added, which is exclusively for level-5 Pokémon.

You'll also find the Pokémon Lab, where you can organize your items, pokémon, and so forth. You can even look through a 3-d PokéDex and see all the pokémon you've captured.

A new area is "My Room". Here you can check out your room in your house in New Bark Town in full 3-D, including all the dolls and carpets and other goodies you've accumulated,

Then, of course, is the Game Boy Tower, where you can play the Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, and Silver versions on your TV (you need a Transfer Pack to do this, though).

Another new place you can visit is the PokéMon Academy, where you can learn all about the Pokémon world. You can take tests, read up on egg moves that a pokemon has, see lectures, and check out reference data in the Library.

You can do a free battle against your Freinds, too.

There are also 12 new minigames to play! Some examples are: Delibird's Delivery, where you must waddle packages from the bottom of the screen to the coveyor belt at the top for points, and Furret's Frolic, in which you have to hit PokéBalls to score points.

And last, but not least, the Gym Leader tower, where you can battle for badges and bragging rights against the Gym Leaders of Gold and Silver.

There are even more new modes and secrets to discover, Mystery Gift being one of them. Once a day you can go and Mytery Gift with a local girl to get all sorts of goodies.

The PokéMon themselves look better than ever, as you can see from the two pictures down below. There are new attacks, as well as new animations for the old ones. All In all, PokéMon Stadium 2 seems to be a great and promising game for all PokéFans. The Fun Begins March 28.
