Eleventh installment of CoolBird Complains, where I, CoolBird, complain about the PokeMon World every week. This week I talk about the latest sets of PokéMon Cards.

Have any of you avid Pokemon card fanatics realized something about the new sets? Maybe? Maybe not. Well, I for one, have realized that as the new sets come out, more of the cards... well, they stink.
I mean, if you go to a tournament anywhere, you will see the most commonly used cards are from the base and jungle sets, and some fossil. Only about three or four cards are used from TR-Rocket's sneak, Nightly garbage, and maybe a few others. From Gym, only the Gym Trainer cards are used-narrow gym and no removal gym. And the Gym Challenge set really stinks! Half the cards in the set do damage to themselves and are useless.
I think Nintendo should get some better ideas and not try to be too original, which makes ome of the cards yucky. Why don't I say Wizards? remember that most of the cards we have were originally produced by nintendo in japan and are just translated.
Nintendo (and wizards) should keep some of the older attacks, like such things as slash and the old Thunderpunch. I belive another thing that contributes to this is that too many people play haymaker pokemon these days. Wigglys are all over the freaking the place and I even used to play a wiggly deck. There are good commons and uncommons in base, jungle, fossil, and probably any other set, but they're overlooked in favor of the hitmonchans and scythers.
Let's all hope the three Neo sets bring us some cool Pokmeon with cool and useful attacks that could screw up the Haymaker world.
