Making Jesus Lord of My Employment and My Citizenship

 

Intoduction:

Jesus compared His people to salt and light when describing their influence for good in the world - Matthew 5:13-16.  Now that we are Christians under the Lordship of Christ, we are no longer to be conformed to the ways of the world, but we are to be transformed -  Rom. 12:2.  Outsiders see this change in best in our behavior at work and in our community.  In these areas we have some of our best chances to show the glory of God and affect the lives of lost people redemptively for Christ.
