Bea-Mar-Ton's Boxers started in the early 1950's as a family venture for Anthony & Beatrice Hechinger and their Daughter Mary. The goal was to breed healthy Boxers with good temperments that were also good show dogs. The name came about by taking the first 3 letters of each name. Bea for Beatrice because she fed the dogs, Mar for Mary who groomed and showed the dogs, and Ton for Anthony who because he was the Super Dooper Pooper Scooper.
