Z.O.R.D.-1 Interface

    In a nutshell, Z.O.R.D.-1's artificial intelligence is not really artificial at all.  It is the rescued consciousness of Saba, the enchanted white saber of the White Ranger.
    When Operation eXtreme was being finalized, the beta version of Z.O.R.D.-1 was considered to be markedly inferior to what was needed.  Several attempts were made at an upgrade in the software, but the results were even worse.
    Finally, Bill Cranston decided that an artificial intelligence should have an actual intelligence to it.  The essence of Saba had been saved to a backup system when the powers of the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers were destroyed by Lord Zedd.  Bill recovered the essence, however the amount of time between download and recovery was a factor in the degradation of Saba.
    A radical new approach at computer technology by Angela Fairweather allowed for Saba's essence to be reconstructed but at a cost.  Gone was Saba's feisty attitude and backtalk.  In its place was a slightly sycophantic and apologetic Saba, whose subservient attitude immediately impressed upon the imposing presence of Sean Morissette by calling him "Master".  Angela and Bill were addressed as "Madam" and "Sir".  All individuals are addressed in this manner.

General SPECIFICATIONS

The main computer system of the Power Tower is comprised of three redundant computer cores. Each core is a two story structure which has 204 storage modules. Utilizing technology that won't be available for general human usage for another century or so, the computer processing unit is comprised of 4 zettahertz processors.  The maximum storage capacity of Z.O.R.D.-1 is 244.7 quadrillion bits.  The entire computer core can be surrounded by a symmetrical (and un-propulsive) subspace field encasement.  Jacketing the computer core in such a field speeds up processing by 316%, forcing it into Faster-Than-Light processing.
