The raging monkey-man returned with an onslaught of fury in the form of punches and kicks. Sean noted that Goldar was surprisingly agile, even in full armor. Goldar grabbed hold of Sean's shoulderpad with one hand and his arm with the other. Sean did the same.
"I will destroy you this time, Sean Morissette!" Goldar said through gritted teeth. "This time you will die!"
Sean broke the hold and brought his feet up in a double kick to the chin of Goldar. The warrior stumbled backwards and tripped over a log.
"Easier said than done, Monkey Boy!" Sean shouted. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Scorpina recovering from the blast he'd given her. Removing two more shuriken, he threw them back at her. They twisted in the air, igniting with energy. The energy increased their size until they looked like oversized Frisbees. The blades spun through the trunks of two parallel trees that Scorpina stood between. A sonic blast from Sean's gauntlet and the trees collapsed onto her, burying her beneath their large splashes of foliage.
The Thunderforce Gold Ranger smiled beneath his auric mask. He didn't even see the sword strike coming towards him...
Suddenly, a rage exploded in her heart. She eyed the monster and shouted, "Your ass is mine!"
Trinitus-3 didn't say anything, but threw a bolt of energy at her again. She leapt into the air; twisting into a torpedo and twirling like a tornado.
"Earthscorch Drill Kick!" she shouted. Her kick drove into the monster, knocking it several feet away. It twisted and landed on its feet and ignited its staff with energy. Twirling the staff, the energy launched out like some form of deadly wind.
Kimberly thought fast, going through her list of options. She suddenly remembered that she had complete control over geological structure. She clasped her hands together and shouted, "Earthenshield!"
The ground in front of her jutted up in time to stop the deadly energy wind. Chunks of rock and debris showered down onto her as she began her small incantation.
"Terra ortu golemis nyp!" The Earthscorch Pink Ranger called. Suddenly, the ground began to tremble and shake. Trinitus-2 looked down and stopped its attack. As if made from the very earth itself, a hand of immense magnitude shot up. It was connected to an arm as if sculpted from sold rock itself. And the head on this creature, eyes glowing with pink energy, had a grimace of death on its features. When it finally pulled its body from the ground, it towered over the two forms below it. And when it spoke, its voice was like that of the din of an earthquake.
"What is thy bidding, mistress?" The Earthscorch Golem spoke.
"Wow!" Kimberly breathed.
"What is thy bidding, mistress?" the creature repeated.
"Oh, me. Um...stop him!" She pointed towards Trinitus-2 who was just as flabbergasted as she was.
"You command, I obey!" Golem said and lifted its gigantic left foot. Trinitus-2 began to scream, but it was cut short by the slamming of the foot onto its head. Shortly, a muffled explosion was all the evidence that remained that showed that the monster was there.
Kimberly, wide-eyed, moved toward the place where Trinitus-2 was and commanded the Golem to move its foot. When it did, the imprint was massive. It reminded her of the T-Rex footprint from Jurassic Park. And, lying in a crumpled heap of metallic parts and still sputtering wires, was the monster known as Trinitus-2.
"Whoa! Talk about a crushing set of developments!"
"Do you require anything else of me, mistress?" the Golem asked, quietly.
"Uh...no," she responded, looking up at him. "No. Thanks. Um...Riba no golemis acru."
After speaking the special incantation, the earthen giant was swallowed slowly by the earth. As the last of the ground covered up his head, Kimberly picked up her crossbow and raced to help the others.
"That oughta hold ya!" she cried, but it didn't. The creature looked at her, firing crimson beams of power at her face. At the speed of thought, the clear visor from her helmet snapped into place. The vents on her mask snapped shut as well. Still, the force of the blast knocked her back. When she got around to clearing the stars from her vision, Trinitus-3 had already gotten up, crushing the sais in its grasp.
Aisha began to fling charges of lightning at the monster, slowing it down. A few moments later, the monster was down.
"Time to end this," Aisha muttered under her breath. She clasped her hands together, fingers interlocked in a reverse manner. Her two index fingers shot up to form a triangle. Flecks of energy began to play over her armor. "Windbane Thunderbolt!"
Her NinjaTech Powercharge, the Windbane Thunderbolt, took form as the energy from her armor shot out and exploded all over Trinitus-3. The monster fell to its knees, but it still would not go down.
The Windbane Yellow Ranger, apparently growing a bit frustrated with this creature, fired a beam of energy that enveloped Trinitus-3. It turned into a chartreuse bubble that had trapped the monster. Trinitus-3 stood up in the bubble and began to fire its energy from its staff at the bubble. Soon, its trap started to wear thin at the area it was firing at.
"Oh no, you don't," Aisha said and put her forefinger and her thumb together, envisioning the bubble between it. Slowly, she closed them together which in turn was happening to the larger bubble. The pressure being produced in the bubble crushed the monster slowly.
When Aisha finally released it, the only thing left was a ball of metallic junk. She turned to be greeted by the familiar sight of the Earthscorch Pink Ranger running towards her.
"We'd better go help Tommy and Sean!" Aisha said, picking up the pace besides Kimberly.
"Tommy's fighting that first Trinitus monster," Kimberly said. "Sean's fighting Scorpina and Goldar."
"We'd better help Tommy first. If I know Sean, he can handle things by himself."
