| 25 | P/AP ENGINE [Proton/Anti-proton] (P/AP) is the primary backup system for the Power Tower should the QSE become inoperative. Working on the principle of matter/antimatter annihilation, the P/AP utilizes the awesome energies released in the destruction to power the Tower. |
| 24 | HYDROGEN GENERATION CELLS (HGC) is another backup system for the Power Tower. The cells split hydrogen atoms from water for fusion reaction. The oxygen by-product is stored and/or released into the ventilation system. |
| Sub-24 | WATER TANK - supplies water to the HGC in the event of emergency. Although with a steady stock, it can be replenished from WASTE EXTRACTION. |
| 23 | PLASMATIC CRYSTAL REACTOR COLONY is another backup system for the Power Tower. The rods of crystal were created by hyper-compressing superheated plasma through a refracting prism, forming a colony of orange iridescent rods. |
| 22 | SOLAR RESERVES utilizes photovoltaic cells to convert sunlight into usable energy for the Power Tower, in the event of an emergency. Emergency power batteries are stored here. |
| 21 | ENERGY ANNEX distributes the power to the various portions of the Power Tower via the use of power dispersion regulators and energy arteries. Excess energy is stored in redundant batteries for emergency life-support. |
