Making Pikachu Happy

Getting Pikachu to be the happiest it could be, could take awhile. You must take very good care of it. This includes battling, using items on it, letting it walk around with you, and checking if Pikachu's okay.

Pikachu hates it when you try to evolve it or when you ignor it and don't let it battle. Pikachu is much powerful than the last game. If you have a Thunderstone at your side, don't bother trying to evolve Pikachu -- it won't let you.

Pikachu is a great companion at your side. It's neat to see Pikachu walk around with you. The more battles you fight with Pikachu and the more levels it gains will make Pikachu the happiest it can be! Using Potions when it's at full life is also a good trick. Pikachu likes it when it gets your attention. When Pikachu learns a new Electric attack, watch out! Check on Pikachu and Pikachu will be burning with energy and even shock you!

Don't bother to trade your Pikachu to another version and evolving it there. Once you evolve it to Raichu, the fun of the game is likely over. Raichu won't follow you around or talk to you. It would be just a plain ol Raichu.
