This game was normally called the Blue version but the Producers thought that red and green don't really mix together. So they cancelled it and made it red and blue, so they kept the green one for the Japan people.

This is still the same story! The graphics are a bit changed, and so they look a bit different than the regular ones. That's the only change of it, but let me explain it a bit further.

The begining seems to look a bit different... But the intro stayed. Bulbasaur pops up with a different look and it has Ash with a Pokéball standing beside it. The same right?

I am guessing that the Pokédex data is different. This would sort of be like Gold/Silver where the two games are different in many ways. This could've been one, only if they had changed it to blue in the first place!

Try and play the game in Japanese. It's in the roms and you'll have a different feel to it because you're used to see English text! I felt a bit different and I sort of quit before I got to Viridian City... oh well!

Too bad Green never made it's appearance to North America... it would've been nice to see all three starters out there! Charizard, Blastoise, and Venusaur. Now wouldn't that be great?

Nothing else around the mysterious Green version. Try out the game yourself and let me hear what you think of it!
