There are ways you can give combos in Pokémon battles. If a Pokémon have two types, it may not stand long from it's worst enemy. Let me give you a few examples.

Magcargo - A Fire/Rock type. Fire is weak against Water, and so is Rock. If let's say for example, what if Azumarril had Mystic Water, which powers up Water attacks, used Rain Dance, attacked with Waterfall, and scored a Critical Hit? This is how it's calculated:

80 (Waterfall's attack power) Multiplied by
1.5 (Attack type matches Pokémon type) Multiplied by
1.5 (Rain Dance and Waterfall) Multiplied by
2 (Water vs. Fire) Multiplied by
2 (Water vs. Rock) Multiplied by
2 (Critical Hit) Equals to...

1,440 points of damage! Now is that a lot? Waterfall was multiplied by 18 times! Even a weak water type attack like Water Gun would do lots even againts a really tough Magcargo!

Gyarados - A Water/Flying type. Water is weak against Electric, and so is Flying. If let's say for example, what if Raichu had Magnet, which powers up Electric attacks, attacked with Thunderbolt, and scored a Critical Hit? This is how it's calculated:

95 (Thunderbolt's attack power) Multiplied by
1.5 (Attack type matches Pokémon type) Multiplied by
2 (Electric vs. Water) Multiplied by
2 (Electric vs. Flying) Multiplied by
2 (Critical Hit) Equals to...

1,140 points of damage! Now is that a lot? Thunderbolt was multiplied by 12 times! Even a weak electric type attack like Thundershock would do lots even againts a really tough Gyarados!

Charizard - A Fire/Flying type. Fire is weak against Rock, and so is Flying. If let's say for example, what if Sudowoodo had Hard Stone, which powers up Rock attacks, attacked with Rock Slide, and scored a Critical Hit? This is how it's calculated:

75 (Rock Slide's attack power) Multiplied by
1.5 (Attack type matches Pokémon type) Multiplied by
2 (Rock vs. Fire) Multiplied by
2 (Rock vs. Flying) Multiplied by
2 (Critical Hit) Equals to...

900 points of damage! Now is that a lot? Rock Slide was multiplied by 12 times! Even a weak rock type attack like Rock Smash would do lots even againts a really tough Charizard!

Moltres - A Fire/Flying type.

Even a weak rock type attack like Rock Smash would do lots even againts a really tough Moltres!

Zapdos - An Electric/Flying type. Electric is weak against Rock, and so is Flying. If let's say for example, what if Sudowoodo had Hard Stone, which powers up Rock attacks, attacked with Rock Slide, and scored a Critical Hit? This is how it's calculated:

75 (Rock Slide's attack power) Multiplied by
1.5 (Attack type matches Pokémon type) Multiplied by
2 (Rock vs. Electric) Multiplied by
2 (Rock vs. Flying) Multiplied by
2 (Critical Hit) Equals to...

900 points of damage! Now is that a lot? Rock Slide was multiplied by 12 times! Even a weak rock type attack like Rock Smash would do lots even againts a really tough Zapdos!

Articuno - An Ice/Flying type. Ice is weak against Rock, and so is Flying. If let's say for example, what if Sudowoodo had Hard Stone, which powers up Rock attacks, attacked with Rock Slide, and scored a Critical Hit? This is how it's calculated:

75 (Rock Slide's attack power) Multiplied by
1.5 (Attack type matches Pokémon type) Multiplied by
2 (Rock vs. Ice) Multiplied by
2 (Rock vs. Flying) Multiplied by
2 (Critical Hit) Equals to...

900 points of damage! Now is that a lot? Rock Slide was multiplied by 12 times! Even a weak rock type attack like Rock Smash would do lots even againts a really tough Articuno!

Heracross - A Bug/Fighting type. Bug is weak against Flying, and so is Fighting. If let's say for example, what if Dodrio had Sharp Beak, which powers up Flying attacks, attacked with Drill Peck, and scored a Critical Hit? This is how it's calculated:

80 (Drill Peck's attack power) Multiplied by
1.5 (Attack type matches Pokémon type) Multiplied by
2 (Flying vs. Bug) Multiplied by
2 (Flying vs. Fighting) Multiplied by
2 (Critical Hit) Equals to...

960 points of damage! Now is that a lot? Drill Peck was multiplied by 12 times! Even a weak flying type attack like Peck would do lots even againts a really tough Heracross!

Mantine - A Water/Flying type.

Even a weak electric type attack like Thundershock would do lots even againts a really tough Mantine!

Quagsire - A Water/Ground type. Water is weak against Grass, and so is Ground. If let's say for example, what if Bulbasaur had Miracle Seed, which powers up Grass attacks, attacked with Razor Leaf, and scored a Critical Hit? This is how it's calculated:

55 (Razor Leaf's attack power) Multiplied by
1.5 (Attack type matches Pokémon type) Multiplied by
2 (Grass vs. Water) Multiplied by
2 (Grass vs. Ground) Multiplied by
2 (Critical Hit) Equals to...

660 points of damage! Now is that a lot? Thunderbolt was multiplied by 12 times! Even a weak grass type attack like Vine Whip would do lots even againts a really tough Quagsire!

Understand the whole concept? Good! Use this strategy against your opponents and win!
