FAMILY: She had a mother called Miyamoto who is now dead...nothing much has been said about her father but some rumors point to Giovanni. I did hear once that her father was the one who saved up to send her to Pokémon Tech and that he died afterwards. She has no brothers or sisters!

BACKGROUND: Jessie's life was really rough growing up. She and her mother were very poor so they had to make do with what they had. As a child Jessie loved playing in the snow and eating her mother's snow rolls. When her mother had to go on an exhibition to find Mew in the mountains Jessie didn't want her to go so she cried, even when her mother took a picture of her to take with her. At one point in her life she did have a boyfriend and she was friends with fellow Rocket member Cassidy...I don't know when but it was defiantly before she met James...anyway she broke up with both of them! After her mother's death she went to try to become a Pokémon nurse but her application wouldn't be accepted so she decided to learn in a school for Chansey. She was doing very well there until the day the teacher was teaching the Chansey how to relax their patient by using sing, the Chansey demonstrated it and Jessie fell asleep with no fault of her own. She then decided that she would never become a Pokémon nurse so she left but still keeps a necklace that one of her Chansey friends gave her. She then went to Pokémon tech where she met James. Both of them partied to hard the night before and failed the final exams. She then joined a biker gang with James and then soon after Team Rocket. Nobody knows how she and James came to join Team Rocket but it might have something to do with the fact that Jesse's mother was a very highly respected Team Rocket member. Anyway now she travels around with James and Meowth trying to steal Pikachu from Ash as well as other rare Pokémon. She even met up with her Chansey friend again from the Pokémon nurse school which had now evolved into a Blissey. Jessie's personality is quite interesting. Just like Misty she has a very short temper. She will hit out on anyone who insults her looks who is mostly Meowth, she also hits her teammates if they do anything wrong, but deep down in this seemingly heartless exterior shines a heart of gold...if she needs to be she will be nice to James and Meowth and her softer side showed in the episode "Ignorance is Blissey" when her Blissey friend gave them all the food in the Pokémon Center and got into trouble...Jessie came back with James and Meowth to convince Ash, his friends and Nurse Joy that they tricked Blissey into giving them the food...so she was basically taking the blame so Blissey wouldn't get into trouble...plus she found it very hard to attack Blissey when it kept trying to walk up to her old friend. Overall Jessie has a mean attitude mostly because she has never known love, since her parents are dead and she never had any real friends...but she will do anything for anyone, like James and Meowth, but may need a little more convincing than James when it comes to helping Ash and Co.
