BACKGROUND: Professor Oak is the guy who gives all starting trainers their Pokémon and he was the one who gave Ash Pikachu. He works in his lab all day checking and researching the Pokémon he has to try and find out more things about them. He now has Tracey to help him around the lab as he invited him to be his assistant.
