TRAINED BY: This is kinda debatable...Giovanni owned him first, he was then given to Jessie and James...but since Meowth can talk he is more one of the Team than actually being trained by them...so you could say he trains himself!

BACKGROUND: Meowth was abandoned at a very early age, he then decided to go to Hollywood. There he met up with a Team of street Meowth led by a Persian, they spent there days stealing food from stores and restaurants. one day Meowth met a female Meowth called Meowzy who had a very rich trainer but Meowzy turned him down saying that humans were better company. This prompted Meowth to start learning to walk and talk like a human...in fact his first word was rocket...which maybe the reason he joined Team Rocket later on in life. Anyway Meowzy still turned him down after he had learnt all this calling him a "freak Meowth". This broke Meowth's heart. Later on he somehow met Giovanni and I guess that Meowth was his favourite Pokémon because it was rare for a Pokémon to be able to talk human language, but soon he was replaced by a Persian and teamed up with Jessie and James...why Giovanni gave Meowth to them I don't know!!! Meowth is often the brains of the group...he comes up with the plans and sometimes the inventions, just like James in a way. He too also knows a bit about computers! Meowth can't learn any attacks like Pay day because he used up all "his smarts" just learning how to walk and talk! I think Meowth values Jessie and James as friends more than he lets on... in fact Meowth is like a cross between them both...he has Jesse's stubborn side but he can show his feelings like James.
