England is not a country. It is on the island of Great Britin along with Wales and Scotland. Great Britian and Northern Ireland form the United Kingdom, or the UK

The prime minister(sort of like a president) Is Tony Blair. He lives in a big house on Downing Street

The currency is called the pound(£) One £=1.62 dollars

Not all British people like tea!(Myself included!) The proper time for tea is at 4:00 pm.

There are four main tv stations, two of which are ownde by the BBC

The main radio station is 1FM. They play pop music

Bonfire Night is on November 5. It a holiday celibrated when a person called Guy Fawkes tried to set fire to parliment. But parliment caught him and he was burned. Pareliment was saved! Sooo...we always remember the day by having bonfires!

Boxing day is the day after X-mas. This was started as a day to give poor people presents. The presents came in boxes....so that's why it's called boxing day!

It is always cold in England, and it rains alot too!
