Grave at Creich, Sutherland, Scotland - "Alexander Dixon Campbell, Pipe Major 1st Sutherland Rifles Volunteers Pipe Band, 92nd Gordon Highlanders, 26th Cameronians, died at Bonar Bridge, 26 July 1906, aged 58; stone erected by eldest son James. A."

Grave at Clynekirkton, Sutherland, Scotland - "Sergeant Instructor John Gunn, died 3 Feb 1889, age 58; stone erected by C. Company, 1st Sutherland Highlanders Reserve Volunteers."

Grave at St. Anne's Church of Ireland, County Donegal, Ireland - "This tomb was erected by the officers, non-commissioned officers and privates of the 91 Argyleshire Regiment as a mark of their esteem and respect. In memory of Private David McIntosh who was drowned near Ballyshannon on 28th June 1832, Aged 38 years. Having served in the regiment at home and abroad during a period of 21 years."
