Experience Movie Magic: Tabitha, Teen Reviewer

Cameron Crowe was born on July 13, 1957, but it wouldn't be until 1989 that he would direct his first film, Say Anything. Born and raised in California, Cameron had experience in the film industry prior to directing. In fact, this guy does everything! He has acted in bit parts such as delivery boy in American Hot Wax. He has produced several films, many of which he has also directed. He was even the song composer for Almost Famous. Most impressive of all, he has written the screenplays for every film he has directed. All of these were original screenplays, except for the most recent, Vanilla Sky, which he was adapted from a Spanish film. Before making movies, Crowe was the rock music critic for four years on the San Diego Union. From the age of 15, he was published in Rolling Stone magazine. He got his big breakthough in the film industry when he wrote Fast Time At Ridgemont High, a popular film in the 80's which was later adapted to a tv series. Although his filmography as a director is short, currently at 5 films, the films he has created are loved by millions, especially Jerry Maguire and Almost Famous.
