Synopsis:The gang from American Pie is back for a summer of partying at the lake.

I have never in my life seen a sequel as good as this one. Most you can pretty much wait till they are out on video, but this movie is hilarious. It wasn't as good as the first, becuase you simply can't outdo the original. But the creators stuck to the same formula as the first, which made this one the same kind of lose your breath, jump out of your seat from laughing funny.

All the characters you loved from the original are back, right down to supporting characters like the drunk "MILF" guys. Only this time, the story takes place on the famous after prom cottage by the lake. Stifler has a bigger role in this one which is definately a good thing, because he is just as funny, if not more so, and even crazier. Oz and Heather don't have as much to do with the plot, because their loose ends were tied up in the first. However they do have a pretty funny phone sex sequence. Vicky has moved on but Kevin is still stuck in high school. Nothing too interesting with them. Finch had me intringued with his new tantru sex practices (which the ladies seem to go for), and Stifler's mom even makes an appearance. A large part of the plot centers around Jim and Michelle (the band geek who dumped him after making him her bitch at prom. Nadia is coming to town at the end of the summer, and he needs Michelle for sexual pointers. I chose them for my picture at the top, so obviously I thought this plot was a highlight of the movie. Jim's dad is back with his humourous speeches. The only two new cast members are the two lesbians, which really push that R rating...definately positive additions.

I don't want to give away any of the funny incidents. Let's just say Stifler gets another round of bodily fluids and Jim once again finds himself in a comprimising masturbation situation, only this time, Jim's dad isn't the only one by far that catches him. Even though they show much of the opening sequence in the previews (Jim's dad catches him having sex), it doesn't ruin it. As soon as the movie starts, you are laughing, and you rarely stop.

Bottomline: It starts out with a bang, they hit you hard, and the punches keep coming.
