Synopsis:In the future, a robotic child is programmed to love.

Well it's not another E.T. hit, but A.I. (artficial intelligence) is certainly a film to see. The story revolves around a robotic child who was programmed to love a woman he came to know as his mother. The woman's natural son was presumed never to be cured of his unwaking condition, but problems arose when the son miraculously healed and came home. Eventually, the mother is forced to leave the robotic child in the woods. Here is where his journey begans to find the Blue Fairy and become a real boy. It's amazing the length this robot goes to in order to find his mother. The story is interesting, and there's not a moment your heartstrings aren't being pulled by this loveable character.

Haley Joel Osment, in my opinion, is the most phenomenal child actor of all time. You'll notice he never once blink throughout the entire film, and that's not something technology fixed, Osment trained himself to keep his eyes open constantly. Jude Law is also wonderful as "Gigolo Joe", a robot programmed to please women sexually like no human man can. He is upbeat and helps to lighten the generally sad mood of the plot. Also along for the ride is Teddy, the most adorable toy you'll ever seen. It's actualy a walking, talking, interacting teddy bear. At first kinda freaky, but soon so cute I was dieing for one of my own.

Bottomline:It's worth seeing, especially if you are in the mood for a good cry.
