The 1964 Aston Martin DB5 was first used in Goldfinger, and it is the car that started it all. This car was the epitome of style, class, and function. It remains one of the most gadget laden cars in all Bond movies. This car was equipped with no less than the following:
*Front mounted machine guns behind the parking lights
*Front wheel hub tire slashers
*Rear smoke screen emitters
*Rear oil slick dispenser
*Passenger side ejector seat
*Rader screen to track a homing device
*Bullet proof windshield
*Retractable Rear metal protection shield
*Revolving licence plateThe first DB5 was crashed into a wall, but that would not be the last time the car is seen. An Aston Martin DB5 is also in the start of Thunderball, which was equipped with a rear metal protection shield, and a high pressure water shooter. Bond can also be seen driving civilian versions of the DB5 in Goldeneye and Tomorrow Never Dies.
