Critic Review

I don't even know how to express this in words. This has to be one of the most horrifying and powerful movies I have ever seen. Many people may not agree with me, but I saw this once and was blown away. Let's look at it. You havea story which in itself is controversial. The premise of the movie challenges our own prejudices. It gives us the oppurtunity to look at how we view other races. It even questions our own morality. What would I do if this happened to me? is a question I asked myself throughout the whole movie. It makes you think about taking measures into your own hands. John Grisham obviously knew what he was doing when he wrote this book. Joel Schumacher understood his task when he took the job as director. The cast knew that they would be challenging their beliefs and feelings. I see some of my favorite actors in their roles, and they become those roles. This is not just a movie. This is a real test of our world. This is a look into the human mind to see how we really look at people of another race. And it makes you ask yourself if justice really is colorblind. "A brilliant and touching film!" "A horrifying look at modern racism!" "*****!" "A masterpiece!" "A colorful cast adds to the flavor of this incredible film!" "One of the greatest films ever!"
