GODZILLA
If you dont know who this guy is, your in the wrong website! Godzilla originally premiered in 1954, but this is not the same one that scared Ramond Burr from the top of a building. By 1973, Godzilla was a protector of Japan and not the original destructive behemoth that originated from the atomic blast in the 50's. His films were mostly now only attracting small fry audiances. To make the big guy more kid friendly, his face was made more like a puppy, his eyes were enlarged, and was alot slimmer than he was 20 years before in his first appearance. This Godzilla is friendly, knows karate, and can slide on his tail. Thus, the Godzilla that stars in "Godzilla vs. Megalon"! Many people hate this incarnation of Godzilla because of his puppy dog face and human-esq look is so diffrent from the original scary Godzilla, but I really like it... but any Godzilla is good for me! The face shows bravery and heroism, but also shows he can kick butt!
Some of the pictures below are also from "Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla" and "Terror Of Mechagodzilla" because the "Megalon" suit was used in those films as well. Toho just changed the features on the face to make him a little less kid freindly to try and bring adult audiences back, but sadley "Terror Of Mechagodzilla" was the last of the "Showa" or classic series. The next Godzilla movie would be about 10 years later when he was reborn in a series of movies with higher budgets starting with "Godzilla 1985".
