The Survivors of Crystal Lake
THE ONGOING SURVIVORS OF CAMP CRYSTAL LAKE/ "CAMP BLOOD" WERE THE FOLLOWING: CHRIS FROM F13 PART 3 TOMMY JARVIS,PAM,& REGGIE FROM PART 5 TOMMY JARVIS & MEGAN AND ALL THE CAMPER KIDS FROM F13 PART 6 First off, let it be stated here that no survivor of Jason Vorhees fully survives. After being in the immediate vicinity of the deaths of their friends and/or family members some--if not ALL--of these "survivors" may have moments when they wish that they, too, had been killed off. We have seen Tommy Jarvis go basically out of his mind and we know he wasn't always like that. This writer would offer the speculation that there are moments not talked about when Tommy--perhaps all of them--find solace in drugs or alcohol, and LOTS of either one or both substances. Dealing with someone like Jason Vorhees is, at the absolute least, severely traumatic and might conceivably induce long-standing psychological shock. Nightmares will most definitely come with this "package" wrapped with the flesh of murdered humans. Long mental treatment will certainly be called for. The doctors may have to keep the "survivor" sedated most of the time. In their minds Vorhees is always close behind...waiting...watching...machette in hand and blood stains on his mask. Sure, they all might try to go on with their lives eventually, but he's still always on their heels. Valium becomes the next best thing to suicide...and maybe ultimately suicide is the only way out for some of these people.
