The Back To The Future films are totally classic, following the time travel adventures of Marty "Nobody calls me chicken" McFly and Doc. Emmet Brown, as they go back and forth through the space-time continuum in a Delorean! The first installment came out in 1985 but only after a lenghthy period of trying to get the film made. The initial idea for the film came to producer Bob Gale in 1980 and when he told his friend and director Robert Zemeckis of the idea, he was very exicted at the prospect of a teenager going back in time to meet his parents when they were his age.
