By the end of it, Aladdin has taken her for a "magic carpet ride", in one of the most magical Disney images ever.
At the end of the movie, the evil Jafar captures Jasmine and makes her his slave, trying to convince her to become his queen.
In these scenes Jasmine shows how tough and strong-willed she really is.
She's even willing to (yuck) kiss Jafar to save Aladdin and Agrabah! - it must be love!
