Apocalypse Now

Action

Apocalypse Now can only be classified as a war epic. This is Francis Ford Coppola's interpretation of Joseph Conrad's "Heart of Darkness" novel. It is the story of an intelligence officer in the Vietnam War who is sent to remove a Colonel who the government feels has gone insane from command. Perfect "Flight of the Valkeries" sequence with... napalm.
Apt Pupil

Drama

Shadee

A teen's (Renfro) unhealthy obsession with the war crimes of a former Nazi (McKellen) uncovers the dark side of human nature. Based upon the novella by Stephen King. The movie is very interesting, and questions was this kid's parents that clueless? Good Ending.
Army of Darkness

Horror

SnkekKungFu

Ash, the drug store super hero, battles a slew of undead warriors with a chainsaw hand. Plenty of senseless violence.
Bottom line: Not the greatest story ever told but one worth telling.
As Good As It Gets

Comedy

Jack Nicholson plays is a cranky, eccentric writer. Helen Hunt is a waitress at a local restaurant. James L. Brooks (Simpsons writer) version of a love story with tons of harsh put-downs and snide remarks throughout the entire movie. Definitely not a chick flick.
