Regular Abilities: sharp metallic fins (especially one on head), good swimmer, flipper smacks, can morph from water-based kaiju to ground-based kaiju (basically he just grows legs)

Special Abilities: Can shoot an ultrasound beam that either stops all biological activity, cause a hypnosis state, or acts like a laser

Weakness: don't like light (burns out ultrasonic beam shooter to)

Film Appearances: Gamera vs. Zigra (1971)

History: Zigra is a zigra from the planet zigra. He came to earth in a space ship with lots of advanced technology in hopes of colonizing it, because the zigras' world is polluted. After leveling Tokyo with a magnitude 18 earthquake, Gamera comes and destroys his ship. With now way of getting back to his home planet, he decides to conquer earth alone. But, of course, Gamera stops him.

This guy holds the record for the most death and destruction ever done by a giant monster! Most monsters only destroyed a small portion of Tokyo, but this guy leveled the whole thing before anyone had a chance to evacuate! Well, a case could be made about how Ghidorah killed off mars without the help of space ship technology, but it's still a point to bring up. The monster itself is quite smart in the technical field. His species did create a lot of high-tech technology. This monster is very smart because he did what is usually reserved for smaller aliens. The only other monster to do this is Orga. Like Orga, though, he doesn't have too much common sense! Not to good at battles. Gamera kicked his butt! In the dark water, he is great, being able to swim around very fast and slice opponents up! On land, he is a flop. But he can use his beam to put the other monster out of consciousness! But if he misses with the beam or it breaks and he is on land, he doesn't stand a chance! Despite the metal armor, he has a weak defense! It's tricky; he's great in some areas but really bad in others. So, due to cancellation, he is your basic kaiju.
