Toho/Tsuburaya Crossovers
During the early days of Tsuburaya productions, low budgets forced them to take on "second hand kaiju". With permission from Toho, they obtained various suits used in earlier movies to use in their TV shows with a few modifications to make it look like a whole new kaiju. This has been done quite a few times in both Ultra Q and the original Ultraman show, and fans of Toho movies will probably spot them right away when watching these shows. Tsuburaya’s borrowing of elements from Toho continues to this day, although mostly with special effects and sound effects.
