History: Reptilicus is a dinosaur or mammal-like reptile frozen in ice 70 million years ago. Dug up by paleontologists after being found by copper explorers in Lapland and brought to an aquarium/museum in Copenhagen. After discovering the regenerative ability, the scientists placed the preserved piece (the tip of the tail) in a nutrient bath to let it grow. Electrical charge from a lightning storm accelerated the process and the creature escaped. After an encounter with a flame-thrower, it took to the sea, but was compelled to return due to instinct. Eventually the military took it down using a bazooka modified to carry a tranquilizing substance, and subsequently destroyed the creature. However, a piece of Reptilicus remained on the sea floor (a leg blown off by a depth charge), and one day another Reptilicus might emerge.

Fighting Ability: ****

Being a simply creature, Retilicus doesn’t have much intelligence. He just kind of moves around randomly spitting acid. Still, his scales are very tough and the acid very powerful. Although he may not appear physically strong, he has been shown to knock buildings down and sink ships with ease. Fire and high-powered explosives do harm him, but it still takes a lot of firepower to do any significant damage. That combined with his fast healing makes him fairly resilient. His physical strengths make up for his slow nature.
