History: an ancient monster that was defeated and sealed away for latter use as a guardian of Japan. Released in 2001 to battle a Godzilla reborn from 1954 to destroy Japan. After metamorphosis she attacked Godzilla along with Ghidorah. She sacrificed herself to save Ghidorah and infused her power into him in order to transform him into King Ghidorah.

A fairly basic Mothra with all the general abilities that a giant moth would have, except for the strange ability to shoot poison stingers out her rear. A tenacious fighter, but still uses strategy whenever possible, such as sneaking up on her enemy. Although fairly good in a fight, she is still fairly weak, with one good blast being all that was needed to disintegrate her.
