Abilities: emits high temperatures and radioactivity, fires a beam from eyes that causes fire and explosions, burrowing ability

Weakness: requires intelligent beings to operate it remotely (if it looses it’s antenna it can no longer be controlled)

Film Appearances: The Mysterians (1957)

History: lead the Mysterians’ first assault of Earth in 1957. Destroyed a small town by burrowing under it, causing subsidence on a massive scale. Once it made itself know to the surface world, it attacked a local power plant and destroyed part of a city. The Japanese Self-Defense Force fought back, hitting it with everything it had, but to no effect. Eventually they blew up a bridge Mogera was on, causing it to all and was immobilized. A second Mogera is thought to have been apart of the final battle against the Mysterians, but this is not confirmed.

A large, clunky, slow-moving, robot. Essentially a really big two-legged tank that looks like a creature. It can walk around, crash through buildings, and fire it’s powerful beam, but that’s about it. Still, it can wipe out armed forces pretty well, and it has descent armor. Wouldn’t stand a chance against a strong kaiju, but it’s not an overly weak device either.
