History: King Kong is presumably the last of a species of giant gorillas that lived on Skull Island. While surviving the many dangers of the island, he is occasionally given a beautiful girl by the natives. The last such girl was Ann Darrow, who came to the island to act in a movie. Kong had a growing relationship with her and protected her from anything that was a threat. When she was taken away, Kong followed, only to be captured. He was put on display at a show in New York City, but escaped, grabbed Ann, and climbed the Empire State Building, where he was killed by airplanes.

Kong shows the scars of numerous battles with the dangerous creatures that live on the island, showing that his survival depended on his ability to fight. As he proved with his battle with three Tyrannosaurus Rexes, he is an intelligent fighter who can use his environment to his advantage or win by pure strength when need be. He can take a lot of brutality and dish it out too. He can’t fly or deflect bullets or shoot eye lasers or anything, hence why the planes got him, but otherwise he’s a great fighter.
