Regular Abilities: kicking and biting and tail-whacking and horn-goring and such, can shoot spikes out of horns, suction cups on body can suck objects to Jiger from a fairly good distance, can transfer air through body to fly and hover, can use retractable stinger on tail to inject eggs

Special Abilities: can project a wide-area beam of powerful ultraviolet light

Weakness: a certain frequency of sound waves that can weaken and even kill Jiger

Film Appearances: Gamera vs. Jiger (1970)

History: Jiger terrorized the ancient continent of Mu before being imprisoned under a giant statue. The statue had a hole through the center which created sound waves that restrained Jiger. In 1970, the statue was removed for the World Expo, unleashing Jiger. Gamera fought Jiger, Jiger won, Gamera fought Jiger again, Jiger injected and egg into Gamera, kids in a sub defeated a baby Jiger inside Gamera, Gamera fought Jiger again and Gamera won.

Jiger is one of the toughest opponents that Gamera faced. Possessing a wide range of abilities, Jiger can attack in numerous ways to incapacitate any challengers. If being impaled with spikes, burnt with UV rays, or hit with flying rocks isn’t enough, Jiger can also inject eggs into other kaiju which will sap their strength and bring them down. A tough kaiju to beat indeed.
