Weakness: Needs a steady diet of humans to survive, can’t stand bright light (usualy)

History: Gyaos was bioengineered by an ancient advanced race of people. After eating all the people, they died off. A remaining egg clutch hatched in 1995. Three survived the cannibalism, and began eating humans. Two were killed by Gamera in a small form, but one survived to adulthood. It laid eggs, but they and Gyaos itself was destroyed by Gamera. Some more will pop up later, only to be killed by Gamera. Eventually a large number of them spawned at once, and Gamera had a hard time keeping up with them. After Gamera fought Iris, the Gyaos collected into a large swarm and flew to where Gamera was. Rather or not they succeeded in defeating Gamera is unknown.

Although their ultrasonic lasers are very powerful, able to slice through things easily and all, the defense is very low. Either they kill the enemy on the first wave, or they get killed. Also, that’s all they can do, and they are left wide open when waiting to recharge. The fact that Gamera eats these guys for breakfast says a lot for their lack of power. However, they aint that bad. Safety in numbers and a slicer beam can be quite powerful. One big one definitely is a worthy advisory, but a huge swarm would be extremely powerful.
