History: Injected with a synthetic nutrient (made with radioactivity, of course), by some scientist guy. Escaped house, and wandered through the Arizona desert, eating cows, sheep, and people. Followed highway to the nearest town, but was firebombed with napalm before reaching it.

Tarantulas are a very well developed arachnid. They can kill with ease and can stop from being killed with ease too. This guy is a giant version of the great bug, and holds all the abilities. He is surprisingly quick and agile, and has the ability to kill things with his poison. Actually, it's not the poison that kills; all that does is paralyze the opponent so he can finish it off with his digestive juices. It is assumed that he can also chuck his sharp back-hairs at things. Because of the tough exoskeleton, he is quite strong defensively too. Fire hurts it, though, and there is no special weapon. He really isn't all that powerful compared to the likes of Godzilla, Gamera, King Ghidora, King Kong, and all those other extremely powerful monsters. Not too shabby, though.
