Special Abilities: fire extinguishing powder, ultrasonic laser beam cutter

Weakness: can’t stand bright light, needs to constantly feed on blood

Film Appearances: Gamera vs. Gaos (1967)

History: Gaos is an ancient race of vampire bat. He was in a sleeping in a cave at Mt. Fuji, and when it erupted he woke up. After many attempts to kill him by resident humans and Gamera, he was finally killed when Gamera dragged him into the lava of Mt. Fuji. He later appeared as a weapon of space people in 1980, and was killed by Gamera again (in the exact same way).

Being a giant bat of sorts, Gaos is obviously good at flying. It was able to take on Gamera in a mid-air battle, and gave the big turtle quite a few injuries with it’s powerful cutting beam. Gaos also has defense against fire attacks, because it can just put them out with that strange yellow powder. A worthy adversary in many ways, but would be much more powerful if it had a better aim.
