History: Anguirus is a species of fire monster related to an ankylosaurus. He was stuck in suspended animation until woken up by H-bomb tests. He got into an argument with Godzilla, and the two fought. Anguirus lost and barely survive. He popped up again in Destroy All Monsters, and he reformed and strengthened his friendship with Godzilla on monster island. He fought alongside Godzilla against Gigan and Ghidorah. He valiantly fought against Mechagodilla, and even though he was severely injured, he at least called attention to it so Godzilla could come. He went back and continued living on monster island. He has probably healed with help from humans working there, but still was never seen again.

Anguirus is great at regular attacks and is extremely courageous. He never backs down from a fight. He will defend his friends and home against all odds. However, he is actually quite weak. He has been beaten up more times than he was able to fight back. He is also not very bright. Despite his lack of ability and tendency to look wimpy, he makes up for it in experience, loyalty, and courage. He is a good monster to have on your side.
