| Because of the return to a right angle between the sun and moon the variation between tides is at its low again. There is once again a balance between light and dark but the dark will soon overcome the light. Now is a time to evaluate what has worked for you and what has not. Solar and Lunar eclipses that occurred directly prior to your birth have a particular significance as well. These indicate, in the case of the Pre-natal Solar Eclipse, a gift you have come to earth to share with your fellows, and that hopefully you will succeed in manifesting and modeling for others. The Pre-natal Lunar Eclipse indicates a personal lesson you have chosen to tackle - coming from a past-life experience for which you have the opportunity to create balance in this lifetime. For more on the Prenatal Eclipses and what they mean to you, it is necessary to know the Sign and Degree in which they occurred, and to note where they fit in your natal chart.
Good for relationship magic.
Eclipses rapidly bring everyone's emotions to the extreme in order for you to see them and understand them better—that's the shock effect of an eclipse. It is as if an eclipse turns up the volume in your heart so you can really hear the message inside. Once you know the truth you can use it as you would any tool—to get a bird's eye perspective, and greater realization of what you want and what you always intended for your alliance. If you were confused or didn't see something that was patently obvious to others, you will finally see it now. Eclipses can give a relationship a sense of purpose if one was lacking, or a reason for leaving. Everything depends on where your relationship has been heading and where you want to drive it next.
It's said that the moon is void of course before it enters a new moon sign (Cancer, Leo, Virgo...). There is a sort of dead space when this is happening. The rule here is to avoid doing any important magic work while the moon is avoid of course. Don't do any major magic work. Don't complete any magic work.
Blue Moon -
There are three
definitions of a blue moon. The first is two moons in the same
month. The second two moons in the same sign of the zodiac and the last is the fourth moon in a season. For our purposes
here you can choose which ever definition works for you.

The Black Moon
A Black Moon occurs when there are two dark cycles of the moon in any given calendar month. It is believed that the second dark moon
is a time of great power within the spiritual world and any magic worked during this time is especially
powerful. By some traditions this is a time when the primal forces of
chaos can be brought to bare through a spell. Within the Green Rose
Tradition and Draiochtgé this is a time when the "black flame" can be accesses.
Please note that this in no way refers to black or negative magic - This is a
time of ultimate creativity not negation.
