Here at Moon Spinner every goat born is a precious individual who will add love and value to my own life and to its new family. This is my passion and I want to share the sparkling, wonderful world of these incredible and versatile minis with others of like minds and hearts. Note: $25 discount on does and bucks (wethers excluded) for each purchase over two. Prices on unreserved kids may change slightly subject to quality. Buck kids are carefully evaluated and I only keep a few intact. Wethers are $125 unless otherwise indicated.
Moon Spinner Kidding/Sales Policy
I accept $50 non-refundable deposits on pre-kidding reservations but these are not required. However, a pre-kidding deposit will ensure your choice and these will, of course take precedence over non-deposit reservations.
Once buyers commit to their choice on either a kid or adult I require a $100 ($50 on wethers) NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT WITHIN 7 DAYS! to hold goats until pickup/delivery. No goat leaves the farm until it is paid in full. If buyer backs out of sale for any reason (NO EXCEPTIONS!) they forfeit their deposit. Deposits will only be refunded if I cannot provide a goat. Kids are ready to leave at 8 weeks. If the buyer does not pick up at that time (exceptions for kids of different ages leaving together) a boarding fee of $3.00/day will be enforced. If the buyer does not pick up their goat(s)within 30 days post-weaning they forfeit the animal(s). Moon Spinner reserves the right to retain kids at any time, even after deposit, but every effort will be made to satisfy buyers.
All kids are dam-raised and some bottle supplemented.
All Moon Spinner goats are AGS-registered Nigerian Dwarf (a couple ADGA and NDGA eligible) and kids (except pet wethers) will be sold with AGS registration forms. All kids are are disbudded, wormed, have their first CD&T vaccines and are given a coccidostat. A health care sheet and starter grain are included in the sale.
My herd is CAE-neg. and all kids are guaranteed healthy at the time of sale. As kids are very susceptible to stress brought on by moves and new environs - particularly involving parasites - Moon Spinner is NOT responsible for any illness once goats leave the premises unless a veterinarian can provide certified documentation the problem surfaced while under my care. In that case, a replacement goat will be provided. In addition, Moon Spinner WILL NOT offer compensation for illness or death due to parasites.
I do not sell to homes that intend to keep only one goat or one of each sex. Goats are strong herd animals and human contact is not a substitute for a buddy of their own kind. My policy is in place for the best welfare of the goat. ALSO: NO GOATS SOLD FOR CONSUMPTION!!
Stud Service: Moon Spinner offers "driveway" stud service to healthy does whose owners can provide CAE neg test results performed within the past 12 months. If a doe does not become pregnant on the first attempt, a second breeding is included in the fee. PLEASE NOTE: STUD SERVICE DOES NOT GUARANTEE A DOE WILL SETTLE OR DELIVER HEALTHY KIDS.
