About Saint Seiya

There are about 28 Volumes of Saint Seiya and all of them have amazing drawings. It was first Publish in 1986 (I was 3 then ^^), then it became a Anime TV Series. It was followed by hit Movies and OVAs.

It tells a story of Athena's Knights, she is the daughter of Zeus and Goddess of Battle. Young men swored to protect her and they became Knights Of Athena. In the manga it tells a story of Seiya, a young boy who was send to train in Greece with her trainer Marin. Once winning the Goth of Pegasus he return to Japan for the Galaxy Tournament, once there he met the other knights including his old rival Jab. Once the tournament began the Goth Cloth was stolen by Ikki who had the phoenix Cloth and was Shun's Big Brother. They now have to get the Gold Cloth back and save Ikki, they fought hard but they were going to get a whole lot of company. After defeating The Black Knights and Crystal Knights they now have to fight the powerful Knights of all, The Gold Knights.

The manga was an insicted Hit and it is know all around the world today, one of Masami Kurumada greatest success ever! I first became interested in the mange when I first got internet here where I live, I started to search for anime then I came across a site with Saint Seiya fanarts. I wasn't too sure if they were fanmade but I found some manga scans and anime clips and I was always wondering if I would get the manga some day, but last year they finally translated the "Knights Of The Zodiac" manga books and I manage to get all 4 volumes. But that was after they aired the Anime here in Canada in 2003. The story is great, the drawings are good and the attacks and style of clothes are more kewler, sure it maybe be too 80's but I love it.
