Why I love Willow
As the original geek Willow Rosenberg was Miss Unpopular friends only with Xander Harris and Jesse. But after meeting Buffy Willow became involved with super cool Oz and began delving into the supernatural.
Willow loved Oz beyond anything. Shy and sweet he gave her the confidence to blossom- even if he was a werewolf. Shes been through her fair deal, near death, scary psycho vampire doppelgangers etc.
However Oz left Willow after he killed another werewolf. Willow was devestated. She took comfort in her wiccan group and from shy Tara. When Oz eventually returned still in love with her, Willow realised that she was in love with another- with Tara.
She and Tara grew closer and Willow's power as a Wiccan dramatically increased- even to the extent that she is able to be a powerful ally to Buffy.
When Buffy died Willow was devestated and tampered with the fabric of life to pull her back. This and an increasing reliance on magic caused Tara to leave Willow. Willow attempted to stay away from spells but when Tara was shot, shortly after a passionate reunion with Willow, by super-geek-villian warren meers, Willow went off the deep end. She became dark and evil and nearly destroyed the world along with killing innocents. She was eventually stopped by the beautiful Xander speech: First day of kindergarten. You cried because you broke the yellow crayon, and you were too afraid to tell anyone. You've come pretty far, ending the world, not a terrific notion. But the thing is? Yeah. I love you. I loved crayon-breaky Willow and I love ... scary veiny Willow. So if I'm going out, it's here. If you wanna kill the world? Well, then start with me. I've earned that.
In the seventh year Willow battles to control her magic and stay away from the dark side while still trying to help the scoobies. Will she be able to fight the first evil?
