I am a 24 year old graduate student and hope to someday teach journalism and advise a newspaper. I've done quite a bit of freelance work, but right now I am looking for a full time position editing or writing. I have been doing journalism since I was 14 years old and I just never got tired of it!
Currently, I work at the front desk at Lifetime Fitness and I love my job and my co-workers, even though it is not necessarily what I want to do with the rest of my life. I have been there for over two years and even if I do get a full time job, I will continue to work at Lifetime part time. I like to work out, and I find running especially challenging. In high school, I ran a 16 minute mile!!!! Now I can run it in about 7.5 or 8 minutes - quite a difference! I also ran my first 5K last December, through Lifetime, and I hope to run another one soon. I still don't consider myself a good runner, but I am persistent!
I live by myself, but my three kitties, Burnie, White-nose, and Cole keep me company. I also have a boyfriend, Patrick, and two best friends that I have known all my life (Natalie and Tina). So, even though I live by myself, I am never really alone
