THE NEW ADVENTURES OF TSUZUKI AND HISOKA!!!

Hisoka says: *Hisoka put the book he was currently reading down and leaned his head against the back of the couch. He was totally bored! Not even the book was keeping his interest. he almost wished that there was a case today, instead of it being his day off. He looked at the clock on his wall and groaned, it was only noon. He had the rest of the day to get through. He opened his book once more and tried to make himself become interested in the words*

Tsuzuki says: 'SSSOOOOKKAAAAA!!!!! *comes bursting into the room from their bedroom*

--------------

Tsuzuki says: (hee hee, they live together)

Hisoka says: (YAY! Heheh)

--------------

Hisoka says: *Looks up from his book, glad for the interuption and raises a questioning eyebrow at Tsuzuki.* Nani?

Tsuzuki says: *grins* Let's go out tonight! *gets really close and winks, snuggling up to Hisoka on the couch and snuggling his head under his chin, hands loosely laying on his Hisoka's hips*

Hisoka says: *Puts the book down with a happy sigh, glad Tsuzuki has at least thought of something to break the monotony of the day. He wraps his arms around the older man* Where do you want to go?

Tsuzuki says: *peers up at him, little hearts popping up, tail wagging* You want to actaully go out? *tail is a blur, he rolls on his back and lays halfway in Hisoka's lap* Yay!

Hisoka says: *Tries to stifle a laugh at Tsuzuki's puppy-like antics, ends up choking and coughing before he is able to speak* Well, I'm bored sitting around here doing nothing. Might as well go out.

--------------

Tsuzuki says: (amazing, I thought Hisoka would get pissed haha)

Hisoka says: (haha, well imagine if you're that bored, anything is gonna help!)

--------------

Tsuzuki says: *grins widens* I thought we could go out and eat...go for a walk...come back home around 8:00

Tsuzuki says: then, leave at 9:00 and go clubbing!!!!

Tsuzuki says: *grins and buries his face in Hisoka's chest as he giggles like a girl getting ready for prom*

Hisoka says: *Rolls his eyes and pushes Tsuzuki uncerimoniously off his lap and onto the floor. He stares at the now pouting form of his lover* Clubbing?

Tsuzuki says: Hai! *sits up and wags tail* Dance out the tension!

Tsuzuki says: It'll be fun! Anyone can club! And you know I can waltz...going clubbing isn't all that different. I can show you.

Tsuzuki says: *sits up in a dog begging stance, hands curled in front*

Tsuzuki says: *giggles* People tell me I can break dance pretty well *grins*

Hisoka says: *Thinks about it for a bit as Tsuzuki continues to rattle on while looking like dog begging for treats. He didn't really like clubs, but it would certainly NOT be boring, especially with Tsuzuki there. He glances back at Tsuzuki and shrugs* I guess, sounds better than sitting around here, that's for sure!

Tsuzuki says: REALLY!!! YAY!!! *Jump up and bear hugs Hisoka* Don't worry, if you're empathy gets to be too much, we can leave *looks down to Hisoka and gives him a winning smile*

Hisoka says: *Smiles back and nods* Okay, well, if you want to eat lunch, then we had better get ready to go! *Stands up and heads for bedroom*

Tsuzuki says: YAY!!! *bounces to the bedroom and grabs his trench and Hisoka's denium*

Tsuzuki says: We're on a date! *grins at Hisoka*

Hisoka says: *Rolls eyes but gives an indulgent smile before shaking his head. He grabs his denim jacket from Tsuzuki and thrusts his arms into the sleeves* Well, let's go then.

Tsuzuki says: YAY!

Tsuzuki says: Uh...Hisoka...

Hisoka says: Yes?

Tsuzuki says: *grins embarrassed* I-I don't have that much money...I can pay maybe for the meal...sorry.

Hisoka says: *Let's out an exasperrated sigh, but shrugs his shoulders. He goes back into their room and grabs his wallet from the top of his dresser* That's okay. I have enough if you don't. Come on.

Tsuzuki says: *smiles winningly* Thanks, Hisoka.

Tsuzuki says: Where do you want to eat?

Hisoka says: *shrugs* As long as it doesn't serve only sweet things, I don't really care.

Tsuzuki says: *shrinks a bit* Well, there's this little Chinese place downtown. It's cheap but good. *smiles*

Hisoka says: Sounds good.

Tsuzuki says: *jumps up and down like a little kid* Yay!

Hisoka says: *Puts both hands on Tsuzuki's shoulders and presses down, preventing him from bouncing anymore* Okay! Calm down, we're just going to go eat!

Tsuzuki says: *calms a bit* S-sorry. I just glad I'm going out. I'm going on a date with Hisoka!!! *shouts down the street*

Tsuzuki says: *ppl look up but don't know who he's talking about*

Hisoka says: *Blood rushes to his face and neck and he glares furiously at Tsuzuki* Would you be quiet, baka! The whole universe doesn't need to know!

Tsuzuki says: *grins* They don't know who I'm talking about, especially with you walking with me sulking. *Looks all dreamy-eyed* I'm not even holding your hand. *grins*

Hisoka says: *Quickly shoves hands in pocket and moves his glare to the ground. Grumbles* Still . . .

Tsuzuki says: *Hisoka hears a couple teenagers on the sidewalk, two girls, one with short violet hair, the other a tall goth*

Violet: Awww, they're a cute couple, aren't they? He's has a prettier face than both of us.

Goth: I suppose.

Violet: *giggles*

Tsuzuki says: *grins, oblivious* Nothing to worry about, 'Soka!

Hisoka says: *Walks faster. Turns a deeper red and tries to glare the ground into submission, but the ground doesn't respond to his death-glare. Reminds him a little of Tsuzuki.*

Violet: Awww...adorable! Let's go!

Tsuzuki says: Here we are!

Tsuzuki says: *It's a out of place Chinese resturant with almost no outside decorations*

Tsuzuki says: *Opens door* After you!

Hisoka says: *Has cooled down a little and walks in to the small restaurant. It is simply decorated with a bar and the smell of food makes his stomach grumble. He hadn't realized he was hungry until he walked in here. The hostess bows to the two and shows them to a small, out of the way table for two in the corner. She asks for their drinks and walks away, telling them to help themselves to the bar*

--------------

Tsuzuki says: (ha ha, here comes Holli's scary waitress!)

Hisoka says: (Yay, scary waitress!)

--------------

Tsuzuki says: *sighs* I'm glad I just always get the buffet. That girl scares me. *looks at the pale white girl with shoulder length jet black hair and piecering skybluish eyes*

Tsuzuki says: Well, at least she's not a demon...*sighs/laughs and heads to the buffet*

Hisoka says: *Walks up to the buffet, grabbing a plate and scans everything that is laid out. Finally he scoops out a little bit of white rice, seasame chicken, and a small spring roll. He sits back down at their table and picks up his chopsticks.*

Tsuzuki says: *literally like a kid in a Chinese resturant* OOOooo! *pulls some noodles on his plate with tongs, a scoop of white rice, some beef and mushrooms to go with it, some vegetable stir-fry, grabs a bowl of egg drop soup and grabs some crab raguns and 3 chicken on a stick*

Tsuzuki says: *sits down noisely across from Hisoka, and attack quickly, but not too savagely, the chicken*

Hisoka says: *Eats delicately and watches Tsuzuki practically inhale his food. Makes a face at the sight of the egg drop soup*

Hisoka says: Tsuzuki, slow down a little! You act like you haven't eaten in a week! *Although he knows it won't do much good, Hisoka says it anyway. Tsuzuki just enjoyed food too much for him not enjoy every meal as if it were his first.*

Tsuzuki says: It just tastes really good! *finishes the chicken and starts on the soup*

Hisoka says: *really cringes now, but continues to pick delicately at his own plate. He finishes off the spring roll and starts to eat the chicken and rice. Before long he sets aside his unfinished plate and watches Tsuzuki continue to eat*

Tsuzuki says: Ne, Hisoka, aren't you going to finish! You can get as much as you want with this buffet! Try these! *tries to hand him a crab ragun*

Hisoka says: *Pushes Tsuzuki's hand away and shakes his head* No, I'm fine Tsuzuki. i ate all I wanted.

Tsuzuki says: *whines* 'Soookaaaa. You should eat more...at least get some desert! *finishes the last of his food*

Hisoka says: *Rolls his eyes, knowing that, at least in this one aspect, Tsuzuki won't relent.* Fine, but I'm only going to get something small. I'm really not that hungry. *Gets up and looks over the desserts. There are cream puffs with chocolate and white frosting on the top, small cakes, and little coconut cookies. He knows the coconut cookies won't be too sweet so he picks up two of those and sits down.*

Tsuzuki says: *heads for second helpings of what he just had; continues to eat. Smiles when he sees Hisoka has some dessert*

Tsuzuki says: Ne, Hisoka, what have you been up to lately when not at work? I mean...besides us...ummm.... *face turns a little red*

Tsuzuki says: Between work and us spending time together, have you been enjoying your hobbies?

Hisoka says: *grins at Tsuzuki's obvious embarressment, glade that for once it isn't him turning red He bites into one of the cookies and chews thoughtfully before answering* Yes, I just started a new book. That's what I was reading when you came in, but it was starting out a bit slow.

Tsuzuki says: What's about? *slurps some noodles*

Hisoka says: *Shrugs* It's talking about the history and workings of fuda. You know, how it came about and the mechanics of using it. Right now I am just reading the history of it.

Tsuzuki says: Oh! *actually knows something about it* Really?

Tsuzuki says: That's great Hisoka...but keep practicing it okay.

Hisoka says: *nods head as he finishes the last of his cookies* I will, I think that I am starting to improve, and this book is going to help a lot.

Tsuzuki says: That's good. But, are you reading anything else not related to work? *looks hopefully at Hisoka*

Tsuzuki says: ...or writing?

Hisoka says: *Thinks a moment while idly running a finger around the rim of his water glass* Well, I am writing my journal, although that's just my thoughts. There was this one book I was reading, just beacause, it was a book on some of the great batles of ancient Japan.

Tsuzuki says: Oh? I guess you know about that a little since of your...family.

Hisoka says: *Finger stops briefly on rim before continuing it's idle circling. He shrugs and nods a little* Yes, my ancestors did have a part in some of the battles that are mentioned. They aren't named in all of them, but I know which ones they were part of.

Tsuzuki says: Oh. Is it really that interesting?

Tsuzuki says: *fidgets with his chopsticks*

Hisoka says: *Stares unseeing at his glass, his finger still tracing the rim* Sometimes, but mostly it is just a lot of facts about how the leaders failed to win and why. It focuses a lot more on defeats than victories.

Tsuzuki says: Mm...so...you haven't been writing anything else?

Hisoka says: *Looks up at Tsuzuki, and folds his hands on top of the table* Not really, I write a little on what I read. Every once in awhile I will write a small idea for a story, but it usually turns out to be nothing and I let it go. What do you do? Besides work and being with me?

Tsuzuki says: *gives a look of disbelieving boredom at Hisoka's writing endeavors, but then perks up* Ah! Well, I've been gardening behind the house! You should look! I think my tulips will bloom soon! *hearts*

Tsuzuki says: Well...I go shopping for...sweets *coughs* and stuff.... And I try to not get rusty on my ballroom dancing. Would you like to help me with that?

Hisoka says: *smiles at Tsuzuki's enthusiasm for his own hobbies. Smile fades at Tsuzuki's request though, he shakes his head* No thank you. Saya and Yuma make fun of me enough as it is!

Tsuzuki says: *stutters* S-sorry! I wasn't asking you to go in drag or anything....

Tsuzuki says: I'd help you with something like that!

Tsuzuki says: If ya do, I can teach you how to break dance *grins*

Hisoka says: *feels a little guilty at making Tsuzuki feel bad. The idea of break dancing is a little intriguing. He turns thoughtful for a moment, he had never really been interested in dancing, but maybe it wouldn't be so bad with Tsuzuki, provided they were where no one else could see them. He glared a little at Tsuzuki before saying* I'll only help you if we practice where no one can see, and you can't

Hisoka says: tell anyone either!

Tsuzuki says: *puppy ears* Okay! You'll love it! And when we go on a date again, you can be really ready for our clubbing!

Tsuzuki says: *plate empty* Ah! Empty!! *looks sad. Perks up!* Hooray! Dessert! *runs off*

Hisoka says: *shakes head and wonders exactly what he has gotten himself into by agreeing to be Tsuzuki's dance partner. He notices his empty water glass and motions for the scary looking waitress so he can get a refill*

Waitress: Yes?

Waitress: *piercing unblinking glare*

Hisoka says: *Flinches internally from that glare, Tsuzuki was right, at least she wasn't a demon!* Yes, um, could I get some more water, please?

Waitress: *snorts undignified* No problem. *pours water and continues her rounds*

Hisoka says: *Wonders how anyone could be that unfriendly and keep a job as a waitress*

Tsuzuki says: *is back with a plate of fruit with sauce and a bowl of sesame balls*

Hisoka says: *grimaces at the sight of the overly sweet desserts and takes a small sip of his water. Half afraid the evil waitress had slipped something in it somehow.*

Tsuzuki says: *pops a sesame ball in his mouth and talks around it* See what I mean? She never does anything, but she looks kinda angry.

Tsuzuki says: *laughs*

Hisoka says: *Nods emphatically* You're right. I wonder how she keeps her job?

Tsuzuki says: I can only guess they're afraid to fire her.

Tsuzuki says: *grins*

Hisoka says: *Looks at waitress and says completely serious* You're probably right.

Waitress: *comes back with bill and fortune cookies* Enjoy, gentlemen. *smiles knowingly and gives them to them with a bit of grace of the hand. Walks off.*

Tsuzuki says: *stares* Weird....

Hisoka says: *stares at waitress' retreating back, a little bemused* Well, she's not evil. I sensed she was somewhat amused by us.

Tsuzuki says: Really? Are we that transparent? *sees Hisoka blush*

Hisoka says: I didn't think so, but I guess we were to her. Maybe she's an empath. *Tries to cover his slight embarressment by picking up a ortune cookie and breaking it open*

--------------

Hisoka says: (ortune? hmm, I'm making up words again)

Tsuzuki says: (It's a type of singing whale LOL)

--------------

Tsuzuki says: Tsuzuki does the same. Cookie reads *Hold your loved person close, and they will surprise you*

Tsuzuki says: An empath? Maybe she just reads people well.

Hisoka says: *cocks head to one side as he reads the tiny slip of paper, is slightly confused. The cookie tells him: A peacock may be beautiful but you do not eat it before cooked.*

Tsuzuki says: *folds the paper and puts it in his trenchcoat pocket next to him on the chair*

Hisoka says: *Looks up at Tsuzuki, shaking his head at the cookie, thowing the paper on his plate* That could be it too. There are people out there who don't need special powers to read people.

Tsuzuki says: *picks up his coat* Guess so. *heads to the front to pay*

Hisoka says: *Picks up his own coat and follows Tsuzuki, still a little confused at the cookie*

Tsuzuki says: *grins and looks over his shoulder at Hisoka* I'm short just a few yen.

Hisoka says: *Pulls out his wallet and hands Tsuzuki the rest of the money before putting his wallet back in his pocket* Here, this should cover the rest.

Tsuzuki says: Thanks 'Soka.

Hisoka says: *Shrugs* You're welcome

Tsuzuki says: *The waitress waves good bye to them without smiling*

Tsuzuki says: W-weird.

Tsuzuki says: *steps outside* Well...now what? Want to go home after a walk and go ahead and help me with that dancing?

Hisoka says: *Tightens his jacket as a cool but pleasant breeze ruffles his hair. He raises his face to the breeze and let's a small smile play on his lips* Let's go for a walk first, the breeze feels nice. Then I will help you with your dancing.

Hisoka says: *Hisoka unlocked the door and walked into the house, Tsuzuki close behind him. The clock on the wall showing that it was only five o'clock. They had wandered the streets of Nagasaki for three hours, just enjoying the cool breeze and each others company. They had talked a little, but spent most of the time in companianable silence. He shed his jacket and removed his shoes before stepping

Hisoka says: into the living room. He held out his hand and Tsuzuki gave him his own long trench coat. Hisoka walked into the bedroom and hung both coats in their shared closet*

Tsuzuki says: *stretches* That was nice. *collapses on the couch*

Hisoka says: *His cheeks and nose were a little red from the breeze, but he didn't feel cold. He walked back into the living room and sat next to Tsuzuki on the couch, snuggling close*

Tsuzuki says: So, do you want to go ahead and help me with that dancing? *grins* If we get to it, it might help you for tonight's clubbing.

Hisoka says: *raises his head to look at Tsuzuki, his cheeks and nose are still red* Why not? *Stands up and waits for Tsuzuki to tell him what to do*

Tsuzuki says: *smiles with hands on hips* Okay! Just for starters, we can just go to the beat of some music. We can get into more steps later!

Tsuzuki says: *goes to the stereo and plays a CD. It's Frank Sinatra's "Fly Me to the Moon"

Tsuzuki says: Okay, I know you're doing the part of the girl, but you can learn from me. *Inches close and puts his left hand on Hisoka's hip*

Hisoka says: *grumbles about being reminded of that fact but pays close attention to what Tsuzuki is doing*

Tsuzuki says: Okay, put your arm up on my shoulder, the same side as I have my hand on your hip. Give me your other hand.

Hisoka says: *Does as Tsuzuki tells him and soon they are gently swaying to the music, his right hand clasped lightly in Tsuzuki's left, whil his left hand rests on Tsuzuki's shoulder*

Tsuzuki says: There we go. Okay, just follow the beat of the song, and follow my lead. *grins*

Tsuzuki says: *giggles* With a little practice, I could teach you how to tango. *grins*

Hisoka says: *colors a little but allows Tsuzuki to show him what to do, swaying with the music. Not knowing where to look he settles on staring at Tsuzuki's shoulder where his hand rests*

Tsuzuki says: *looks like he thinking something over, and decides to go with it* I know your family must have taught you a lot, but I guess you never did this stuff while you were alive...spending time with friends...loved ones.

Hisoka says: *Shakes head slightly, clamping his teeth together against the tightness in his chest that thought brings, and against the small swell of anger. He steps almost imperceptibly closer to Tsuzuki*

Tsuzuki says: Uh! S-sorry....

Hisoka says: *Shakes his head again* No, it's not your fault.

Tsuzuki says: *pulls him closer* Yeah...I'm sorry anyway. *nuzzles the top of Hisoka's head*

Hisoka says: *Leans against Tsuzuki's chest, breathing in his scent. He places both their hands against Tsuzuki's chest as they continue to sway to the music.* Thank you.

Hisoka says: *Doesn't really know what he's saying thank you for, but feels like he should say it anyway*

Tsuzuki says: *blushes a little and notices it's not really waltzing anymore, but he doesn't care. Bear hugs Hisoka* For what?

Hisoka says: *Shrugs and wraps his arms around Tsuzuki's waist* I don't know. Everything, nothing. For being you, I guess. I'm not sure.

Tsuzuki says: *smiles and rests his head onto of Hisoka's, hugging him close* Thank you.

Hisoka says: *Tries to lean back so he can look at Tsuzuki's face, but he is being held on to tight, so he just rests his head against Tsuzuki's chest* Why are you thanking me, I haven't done anything?

Tsuzuki says: *chuckles* The same reason you did.

Hisoka says: Oh. *Hugs Tsuzuki tighter and closes his eyes, relishing the feel of them just being together.*

--------------

Hisoka says: (God, I make myself laugh so hard when I write this stuff, while at the same time going "AWWWWW!" Sappy sappy sappy! Heheh, I do so enjoy writing this!)

Tsuzuki says: (kyheh!)

--------------

Tsuzuki says: *the song ends, and changes to the song "Heart of Sword" Hisoka gives Tsuzuki an questioning eyebrow*

Tsuzuki says: (hee hee, the dance-ish like, early 90s song at the end of Kenshin tv show)

Hisoka says: I know you don't waltz to this kind of music.

Tsuzuki says: *laughs* It's a custom cd. Some various music I like.

Tsuzuki says: *laughs* I'm so old, I remember when most of this music first came out. I always liked the changing times.

Hisoka says: *nods* Okay, old man, so what's the type of dance to this, then?

Tsuzuki says: *snorts* Just about anything you want. But you could probably break dance to it.

Hisoka says: *Steps back, a smile playing at his lips as he makes a sweeping gesture at the floor* Well? You said you would show me.

Tsuzuki says: *steps forward and looks side to side, steps back and swings his hips back and forth. grins* All I need now is a cane and hat *laughs*

Hisoka says: *Snorts, trying to hold back laughter*

Tsuzuki says: *right before the refrain he pulls his upper body back, his arms bent and pulls back once on each side He twirls around and hits the ground hands first, lowering himself to his chest as his legs go up, and then snaps back up*

Tsuzuki says: *uses his shoulders to keep beat, then does the same dive again. Does that twice, then goes back to his shoulders and steps*

Hisoka says: *watches, impressed as Tsuzuki pulls off moves that look like they could really hurt if done wrong.*

Tsuzuki says: *puts one hand down on the ground, pulling his body up in a form that looks similar to a skateboarder on a ramp, then flips backwards from on his knees*

Tsuzuki says: *as the song ends, he's out of breath and jumps back up to his feet. The song fades out and he steps up to Hisoka and grins* How's that?

Hisoka says: *eyes are wide with astonishment at Tsuzuki's movements. He smiles up at him and slowly claps his hands* Not bad, ooold man.

Tsuzuki says: *sticks out his tongue and ignores the snide remark* Thank you.

Hisoka says: *Laughs a little, enjoying his dancing lesons* What's next, then?

Tsuzuki says: Dunno, up to you.

Tsuzuki says: *the cd has changed to a sader sounding song. It's a woman singing in English, but it sounds almost like opera in places*

Tsuzuki says: *it's full of strings, a moderate beat*

Hisoka says: *Listens for a second to the music* Well, you said follow the music. So, what dance does this music belong to?

Tsuzuki says: *smiles* We can probably go back to waltzing. *grins*

Tsuzuki says: *the song sounds really sad*

Tsuzuki says: *takes Hisoka's hands into the proper positions, and sways them* Mmmmm....

Hisoka says: *steps closer to Tsuzuki, pressing his body against the other man's as they continue to keep time with the haunting music*

Tsuzuki says: (it's Sarah Brightman's "Anytime, Anywhere" nice opera almost like piece. It's on the same album as "Eden" You should hear it sometime)
