The first thing one would notice about Valtameri is her height. She could easily look most men in the eye, and stare down at the rest. And, from her usual expression, whoever she is staring at should be adhering to her commands.

Her features would be described as beautiful, with high, almost delicate cheekbones and arched brows. A smooth forehead tips into a refined nose, and her elegant ears are each adorned with three silver studs and two matching hoops through the cartilage. Two empty pools of pitch black serve as her eyes, the gleam within them echoing the proud set of her full lips. The palely crimson scar riding in a vertical line over her right eye only amplifies her disdainful expression.

Rich ebony hair flows down the length of her body to pool about the small of her back. It forms a prolonged stygian sea, broken only by the brilliantly white streak arching from her right brow. This spectral color is echoed in her drastically pale skin: she is striking moonlight framed by the midnight of her locks. Her form is lean, a fighter’s figure with numerous well-defined muscles gracing long and graceful limbs, all under distinctly feminine curves. Her gait could be called flowing, as if belonging to one who had spent much of their life on the deck of a ship or the back of a horse.

If suited for battle, jet-black leather encases her form, shrouding her in darkness. Her breast and back plates are elaborately worked pieces of thick leather lined with fine silver wolf fur and covered with glimmering silver chain mail, laid in intricate patterns. Her shoulder pieces curve about her neck and strap to the plates, arched spikes protruding from the leather and mail and curling toward her arms. Her upper arms are left bare except for draped chain mail falling to her elbows, the ends cut into jagged points. Vambraces encircle her forearms, more fur lining them and chain mail again covering the tops, this time in diamond patterns. Similar leg plates cover her thighs, and greaves encircle her calves. A thick belt woven with chain links encircles her thin waist with a large and rather imposing sword hanging at her hip.

However, most of the time Valtameri is seen in crushed velvet breeches, cut to her figure and dyed to match the blackness of her tresses. Her boots are gleaming black leather, reaching mid-thigh and trimmed about the top with the same shade of wolf fur that adorns her armor. Her thick leather belt again lies over her hips, her sword still comfortably at her side. A matching strapless bodice is cinched about her torso, the fur running along the upper edge of the leather. A deep gray silk chemise is beneath, with sleeves that pouf about her upper arms and tie close to her forearms with velvet laces. Her top exposes her shoulder blades, though they are not bare. If, by chance her hair is swept aside, one can catch a glimpse of a breathtakingly detailed tattoo of two angel wings, beautiful yet broken. They are merely the skeletal remains, littered with stray ashen feathers and drops of vividly crimson blood.
