How do I say…

 

Every time I try

I just can't seem to do it…

I know exactly what I'd say

but the words just don’t seem enough

I can begin to write it,

but I can't let you see it.

I hear the words of others

telling me I should

I hear you asking me why,

why I can’t tell you

even though you know everything

I just can't tell you something

something I don’t believe in

or believe is even real…

But since I can't do it, even if I try,

how can I let you know

if I can't say it to your face?

All I want is to show it

and to see it returned to me.

But if I can’t seem to make it happen,

How can I expect it of you?

If I can't believe in love,

will you?
