Just Like Me

Back To Secret Shadow

They’re just like me only in their unique style,
Trying to find themselves and it took a while.
Thought they lost themselves by being alone,
But the answers reveal it after they’ve grown.

They’re just like me only much more bigger,
Fighting in this world so no longer they suffer.
Fragile they are inside yet looking strong outside,
Their true weaknesses are what they wish to hide.

They’re just like me and even a bit smaller,
Unaware of what we see when we grow older.
Naive they are yet responsive to their emotions,
Until one day they fit in society as a different person.

They’re just like me thinking the way I do,
Even the same goals in life I wish to pursue.
Troubled by the competition I have captured,
My strategy is what I need to survive structured.
 
They’re just like me in ways I never imagined,
Yet only some of them end up being legends.
Conscious of my gift yet weak to have control,
I have to search the depths of my mind and soul.

They’re just like me but now I see they’re different,
Their powers from mine are simply way too distant.
There is no other creature resembling close to me,
Not a soul who can have the same stories in my diary.
