Darkness Plays With Me

Back to Dragon Child

Trapped by an immortal soul wishing me to be his slave,
I would rather loose my freedom living in my grave.
Wrapped up between steel chains in an unknown cave,
I would rather drown or get hit by a stormy wave.
Locked up in a chamber for the actions I behaved,
This moment will forever in my memory be engraved.

Darkness plays with me each day and each night,
It’s an endless game I cannot learn how to fight.
Darkness takes away from my soul my every right,
Even the smallest whisper my hand happens to write.
Darkness shows to my lonely world its absolute height,
I cannot escape the place as he holds my soul tight.

Sheltered from the illumination living as a phantom,
No one is there to rescue me from my problem.
Chained in his little castle taking away my freedom,
I can only be called now as his hopeless victim.
Slowly he throws on my soul his poisonous venom,
As he whispers to me “welcome to my kingdom.”

I know I can defeat him if only I had the courage,
But I am too feeble for myself to even manage.
I know I can beat him by using my knowledge,
To demonstrate his wicked eyes the same image.
I know deep down he will give me my privilege,
If only I had the nerves to show him my message.
