Confessions
Back to Secret Shadow
Confessions are coming from a little girl,
Lost in her own home; she lost her world.
She never asked for nothing only a little love,
That wasn’t what the surroundings were made of.
Confessions are coming from a teenage girl,
Lost her own identity; she had lost it all.
Everything that ever meant in her life to her,
Has been broken until she left through the door.
Confessions my heart had denied all those years,
Refused to admit, now it’s time to face my fears.
Thought everything would have been okay but not,
This kept haunting me and soon it will take what I got.
Confessions my soul has to take considering it be a sin,
Refused to say a word, now it has gone under my skin.
Thought everything would of passed and all is good,
But it’s always there and I am left misunderstood.
Confessions are coming from a mature woman,
Still needs warmth and needs the help of a hand.
She is fully-grown and beautiful and independent,
But deep within herself, her inner voice is left silent.
Confessions are coming from an older woman,
Still living in her world, understanding what she can.
She thinks of all she did right and all she did wrong,
As hurtful as her confessions were, it made her strong.
