I hunger night after night for a prey,
A soul I somehow have to betray,
I welcome my victim to have his play,
Until no longer does he wish to stay.
I hunger for the life of someone I lust,
But I have to convey him my trust,
I play the role of a convincing artist,
My body after centuries will turn to dust.

You and I are the kind of creatures we wish,
By staying away we will only be punished,
Do not be resistant and be someone foolish,
Our lust to each other cannot simply vanish.
You and I go beyond all of the world’s pain,
Our presence together on earth will remain,
So come to my kingdom where we shall reign,
Our lives are a reason what society can’t explain.

I close my eyes and the guidance I follow,
To see my one and only love of tomorrow,
I fly night after night out my window,
To bring you back to my own chateau.
I close my soul from all the living hate,
It was not me, who dictated my own fate,
Yet from the whole society I had to isolate,
As this fear of my hunger I had created.

You and I are meant to have this first dance,
As our souls accept this one and only chance.
We only had to look at each other by a glance,
And this is how began the world of our romance.
You and I are exactly what we have become,
It’s a sin to be what we are but we are at freedom,
Although society haunts for us is our only problem,
We are the chosen ones although you are my victim.
