| Dear Mr. Shiva Prasad, We are very pleased to inform you that the short term course attracted overwhelming response from all corners of the country. We have just completed the process of selection, which was indeed a difficult task We are happy to inform you that you have been selected for participating in the course. As a participant from an AICTE recognized institution, you will be entitled to sleeper class fare (to and fro by the shortest route) and DA of Rs. 125/- per day. You are requested to confirm BY EMAIL to both coordinators (ksreddy@civil.iitkgp.ernet.in, skbarai@civil.iitkgp.ernet.in) about your participation by 30th September, 2003 positively. Your early confirmation will enable us to accommodate wait-listed participants for the course. In case, you are not able to attend the course and inform us by 30th September, 2003, we will return your caution money. Please correspond by email ONLY until 6th of October 2003 as IIT Kharagpur will have Durga Puja holidays. Looking forward to your active participation in the course.
